Its about time they get a new season rolling. The best show on tv about buying and selling collector cars.

It is about time! I have seen all six of the first season episodes at least a half dozen times each.

Great shows last night. Cool Cobra he had at the Mecum auction. Sold after the auction for $1.675 million. That is the most interesting auto related series that I have seen. Shows all aspects from start to finish.

I liked the car show he went to that they gave you a pager when you registered to notify you if you won a door prize….. high tech show!

Chasing Classic Cars has a Facebook Fan page; and this past week during taping one of the producers was taking photos with his cell phone and uploading them to facebook:

“Wayne drove the car and found it well put together and quite entertaining. (John said that before he could go into production with the car, Nader pretty much shut down the Corvair with his book “Unsafe At Any Speed” which killed the Phoenix.) Our loss. Its built on a Corvair platform with Corvair drivetrain.”

The show this week featuring the Falcon station wagon was cool.

It’s amazing what you can actually learn occasionally. I never knew that the Falcon wagons were available in a “woodie” edition with wire spoke wheels.

I think Wayne may have also gotten a little greedy with his reserve price at auction. As best as I can figure, he paid roughly $12K or so, and he was looking to get $20K to $25K (or more) at auction. All the car needed was detailing and polishing. The high bid at auction was $14K, which did not meet reserve.

Is the show in reruns already, seems like it just got started.

I think they had a whole 6 shows this season.

They keep posting photos on facebook pretty much every week as the film crew follows Wayne around….

Here is a photo from Season 3. Wayne uncovers a real Cobra (est value 2million)

    Do you remember the Davis?

Looks like they took it apart and and now ready to put it back together:
