What do you think of the menu on the side?

What do you think of the menu on the side that I added? It displays the same links as the homepage. I have taken a screenshot so you can see what it looks like without altering the forum right now:

Sorry don’t like them. It shrinks the screen way too much and I’m running at 1024 resolution.

By the way TGPO has been MIA for a long time here and at videohelp

PS – I tried switching to SOLARIS theme and you can’t post with it because it says its missing the quick reply mod. FYI

Yeah the solaris theme is obsolete, I could even take it down.

I’m not too fond of it either, I just want to see what everyone thinks.

Try using this garibaldi if you stick with it, this is more cross browser compliant. Yhat other code I gave you has some problems with it when the content exceeds the width of the monitor display. Adjust the positions and margins as you need too.

Yeah that’s something that I’m thinking too. One question I do have for everybody is have you noticed that the links at the very top of the page are the same as those on the menu?

I think it’s overkill, personally.

And the screen res issue – I’m a believer in full-width for the posts and I never cared much for the sidebar at that other place icon_rolleyes.gif

Thanks Cap, I think I’ll leave it off. I’d still like to see what anyone else has to say about it too though, good or bad. It was an idea but I find myself liking the wider forum a lot better

I Like How It Is Now, (No Menu)

But Maybe Get A Links Page Link With All Of Those So We Can Navigate To Them Quickly. Nothing Too Elabourate

Which links do you mean? The ones on the menu? All of those are already on the top of the page ^^. As far as the car shows just click on Photo Gallery, and a list of them appears right there.
