that Tucker Convertible that was restored by Benchmark classics and was damaged at the Russo & Steele Auction in 2010? Did the car ever sell or is it still here in the Madison area?

Last we heard it was in Utah, they took a loss and moved on. I don’t think we’ll ever find out it it was real or not.

I had heard something similiar last week from an AAG (Auto Appraisal Group) pre-purchase inspector. He indicated that a group of investors out west (Idaho or possibly Utah) had purchased the car as a group investment.

I have done an exhaustive Google search and could not find any current info on this car.

Having seen the car up close it is too bad that it could not be documented. Seeing what the Tucker at Barrett-Jackson brought(2.9m) the investor group may have made a good investment.
