Where’s all the posts?

What’s happening with the amount of posts, we’ve had only 131 this month!! Last year we had over 2000 this month!! What gives? What are we doing wrong?

The month is still young, Plus the Holiday’s will always kill a forum…

Its been like this for awhile though, we only had 700 last month too. If everyone could try and make 3 new topics each day in addition to responding to others it would really help out I think

Thanks guys, its appreciated. Basically what we were thinking was the thing that makes the forum most interesting is diversity. Everyone thinks a bit differently about things and ideas, as well as having different opinions. If we could have a lot of different people posting a few things a day we could have a very active site plus a lot of different and interesting things to read – since everyone would be contributing their own personal “spin”.

It’s never easy to predict. Sometimes the posting just drops off – no apparent reason.

I agree.. you could become unbalanced and fall over…

Forums ebb and flow like the tides, except there are no fish. I’ll try and come up with a few topics..

Forums are struggling because of things like MySpace and blogs. They’re just not as popular as they once were from what I see.

IMO myspace is a dumb waste of time – plus its unorganized so posts can’t be as easily found as they can in a forum!

I can’t disagree with you but blogs are becoming more and more popular and that’s where the real loss in users on a forum will be.

Blog, blog, blog! I don’t have time for all that, I prefer forums like this where I can see what’s new and start reading!
