    Which do you prefer, Fullscreen or Widescreen and why?

    What’s your ratio on your 16×9 pyrate? How close to 2.35:1 are you? My sister and brother in-law have a nice tube hdtv. But it still has a pretty large band on 2.35:1 widescreen movies. But its full screen on the 1.85:1 widescreen (does that make sense?).

    Well I’m sure its in the manual somewhere. Also – on 2.35:1 movies I’m sure the less black bars you have the closer to 2.35:1 you actually are.

    Its interesting. The network premier of TWO TOWERS is on tonight. It’s FULL SCREEN!?!?!??!?!!?!?

    They put the first one on in partial widescreen and then are two towers in full screen. I wonder why??

    WB must have gotten complaints about the half crop job and decided to go all full screen???

    Fullscreen. I have a 20″ TV, so a widescreen would be silly.

    That would be crazy, especially with some of those movies that have a really big ratio
