I can’t find another copy of the image. It is horrible, you don’t want to see it. Just picture a mustang with a chopped cobra head on it! icon_vomit1.gif

I think I saw one of the ugliest corvettes today on my 2007 365-day car calendar:

    a Corvette Nomad:

Those seem like complete opposites to me!

The Corvette Nomad doesn’t do it for me either! But, that is the beauty of this old car obsession we have. There is room for everyone. I am not a big fan of restomods, just as the restomod folks think that OE and bone stock is boring. First and foremost, though, is quality. A quality restomod will beat a quickly and poorly done bone stock restoration every time.

I agree, that is what makes this hobby so great. No matter your background, age, or interests…. there is a car out there for you. I think the automobile in many ways embodies the idea of the American Dream, which like all the different models of cars is different for everyone

That one may be a replica, but Chevy did build a Corvette Nomad show car for the 1954 Motorama car show. This site also has a new Corvette Nomad update from the 2005 LA show. http://www.corvetteblogger.com/index.cfm/2006/11/14/Replica-1956-Corvette-Nomad-Ready-to-Roll
