    Mr. Ed

    Francis the talking mule

Bonzo (of Ronny Reagan fame- Bonzo was the brains of the duo)

    Lassie

    Rin Tin Tin

    Flipper

These choices would do as much for the people of the United States as any of the current candidates or current holders of the offices.

I can hear Lassie and Rin Tin Tin barking already when they win.

It felt good to start my day with a straight-ticket Republican vote.

I also voted down the train, voted down MATC getting $133M, and voted down enything else that would currently cost more money.

MATC is a good investment. That is something which will improve our society. Many of the jobs that MATC trains for are in big demand. I think it is short sighted to vote a straight ticket on either side.

If John Boehner becomes the new majority leader, instead of a chicken in every pot there will be a bottle of booze on every table.

Now the Eco-Nazi liberals can water there rain gardens with there own tears

The GOP has talked the talk, let them walk the walk. IMO the country won’t be run worse than it has been. I understand having money in your pocket makes one an evil, rich, racist Republican but c’mon. All these “for the people” democrats don’t have there checkbooks out to open businesses or create jobs.

You sound so bitter. Lets see if they come up with some creative ideas to solve the jobs and economy problem. Here’s to ya.

I voted YES on the MATC referendum issue. I have seen the tremendous benefit that Madison College (and others like it) do for the community, first hand. Madison College is busting at the seams right now, and many of the desirable programs have waiting lists to get in. It’s possible to get a great education for not alot of money here.

In retirement next year, I am considering taking a few courses at Madison College for some “refresher” training.

Agreed. Education is so important to help fill the positions we need (or are going to need soon) like nursing and healthcare. Moreover, only through education will we find the innovators and inventors who will create the next great products and solutions. Your idea for next year is another great example of how to take advantage of these colleges – take a course on something you’re interested in or a hobby you would like to learn more about!
