    Hello Everyone!
Starting a new venture at my home shop, Zapp’s Rod Shop, located in Cottage Grove.
I’ve been a member here on Wis collector car for about 4 years, although I haven’t posted much.
I grew up in a car family and old cars have always been a part of my life.
I’ve always had a dream to open up a shop someday and help others with their old cars, finally jumped into it.
We are focusing on 1928-1980ish vehicles, and anything from minor maintenance to complete restorations.
Things have started out really well and I have added some pictures of a few customers cars we currently have in the shop.
Visit our our FB page at Zapp’s Rod Shop or http://www.zappsrodshop.com for updates and progress on customer cars.
If there is anything we can do for you, or you have any questions, just let me know, or just pass the word along!
    Thank You!
    Jeff Zapp-

We picked up Jeff’s 1964 Impala SS for some fab work and metal repairs. Numbers matching true SS Impala.
Jeff is doing the restoration himself but wanted a little help with a few things.
From minor repairs, to complete restorations, we’ll do it all!
(Not sure why this picture was taking in black and white? )

Little Riley was all smiles even before we got his Truck back onto the Go-cart style chassis!
Big or small, we’ll do them all. The smiles are what its all about!

We picked up Brian’s 1974 Dodge Dart for some performance upgrades.
New carb and intake, installing a set of headers, aluminum radiator, swapping the rear gears and adding a pair of mini-tubs.
More performance items to add again later, but we are off to a good start!

Mike’s 50 Chevy truck is coming along nicely.

Frame is painted and assembled, engine and trans are in, and the body just got back from the BodyShop

Looks great. Shop looks like it is bulging at the seams. A good place to be.

Barn find 1967 Charger. In storage in an airplane hanger for over 14 years.

This one gets a new Hemi Crate motor and overdrive trans, we’ll also take out the torsion bar front end and go to
coil overs all around with Wilwood or Baer 4 wheel disc brakes

Took advantage of the warm weather Monday to move some cars around in the shop.
Thought this was a neat pic with a few cars outside for a couple minutes

Jeff, did you run out of the room in the shop looks like you got the GTO in your garage?
I glad to see things are busy at Zapp’s Rod Shop.

The pictures of the GTO were the customers garage just before we loaded it, but yes, we are running out of room.
Just finishing 2 projects up that will be leaving, so that will help, and a 1971 Corvette came in for Vintage air.
Very nice to be this busy. And I thank you again for allowing us to work on your ’36
