I’ve used rust bullet to coat my pans (I had a bit of surface rust due to the car sitting for 8 years). No prep needed.
The wisconsin cruisers are meeting at the wendy’s in SP at 11am on monday and then cruising to the steak and lube. So if you don’t want to cruise head over to the steak and lube by noon. Not a car show but an opertunity to hang out with car folks.
If there was a half page flyer I would have no problem printing off a bunch and then drop them off in folks cars at shows.
I did a drive by 7:30 on my way back from Fitchburg. If the weather is nice next tuesday I’ll hit up this show.
I know on my way out I saw a pack of rice racers on the street. I think automotion 2007 should include a class for the ricers and for bikes too. The problem is that that Saturday they were pretty much at their max, so maybe they only allow preregistred cars in next year? Or maybe a ricer group should have a show the same weekend at another water park?
I heard thing got pretty crazy Saturday night, large groups boxing in cop cars. Folks jumping up on cop cars. Tear gas cans were shown but not used.
To curb this I could see only having the show on Sunday (which would be a shame)
I would give it an A. This was my first large car show. Most shows I’ve been to have an average of about 50 cars. I liked the dyno since it was something different. I never ran into the live music. I went with a friend who isn’t into cars so it was a quick 2 hours that I was there.
As long as the weather is nice Saturday next year I’m planning on heading up early and then pulling out before the cruise to park on the main strip to watch the cars go by.
