It’s nice to end the year with the non competitive shows.
You don’t have to put up with a lot of the trophy hounds
and the whole show seems to be more relaxing.

The taco’s would be a welcome addition to the brat & hamburger menu of most of the shows. Not that I don’t like burgers, fries & burgers are my favorite breakfast.

I went to a show and shine in Fond du Lac today (Saturday 10-8, See RTS), and have one next Saturday in Appleton at Hank & Karen’s Bar. That’s it for shows but hoping for nice weather into November for some short cruises.

I don’t board as much as most of you do, especially in the off season. So until next year, keep the shinny side up.

It might be easier to move my rating to the your listing. Yours has the photo attachments. I haven’t figured how to add the photos to a listing yet. No big deal. I seem to venture south more the most of the other posters. I’m sure I looked at your cars. It would be nice to meet you guys. You all seem to know each other. Next year, stop by and say hello or leave me a note on the car if I’m not there.

I made the trip 2-3 years back? She’s a hell of a trip from
Appleton for the 30 second judge job that was done on my car.

They never even noticed that the car was tubed. Swore I’d never go back. So I hear you on the disappointment on the judging and even the awards for that matter.

I sometimes get the sheep going to the slaughter mentality when they take your money and run. You may have noticed that I slightly criticized this and similar shows. While
applauding “car owner expense friendly” events.

Come up to the valley next year. Yesterday I had about five shows to chose from, and today two or three.

I make a few weekend down south and stay overnight between shows to justify the fuel expense incurred. It,s a nice weekend away from the local car show and people. A great opportunity for making new friends. Try it you’ll like it.

We attended this show a few years back when they had one individual outside judge do all the cars and thought it went well.

I hesitated to make the trip when I heard it was changed to participant vote.

Sounds like it went well with the new twist.

But I still prefer concourse judging.
