I’m ready for this to be done… we were supposed to race tonight at Oregon, that got cancelled. We’re still planning on going to Poynette tomorrow, just will have to watch. Right now it looks clear, but after last night we all know how quickly storms pop up!
I asked a couple people I know from the area and they didn’t go out to the track either. I don’t know if they have a website they post the results on or what… still wish they didn’t do that.
We’ll see how the week goes with my daughter, but I think we may try the show in Poynette, it looks interesting.

Marshall ~ the Don Miller show is confusing, I will agree. I haven’t seen/heard anything this year about the God’s Country Show that’s been held in Waunakee the last couple years. I’ll have to check on that.
Oh man, I was hoping changes had been made at this show, but it doesn’t sound like it. The problems will continue to exist year after year unless someone realizes there are issues to be resolved. I was glad to hear they had such a nice turnout, let’s hope they turn the show into a positive one soon.
We normally get out there also but haven’t had a chance this year. We’ll have to do that in the next month.
Our daughter is having surgery on Thursday, we’re going to take the weekend off too. I’m anxious to hear how Edgerton goes, it used to be a great show ~ let’s hope they took the advice they received last year to heart and made changes.
Unfortunately that’s all too true now… the awards for the shows we attend or host (with the exception of last weekend) cost more than $10. There are lots of people that will not attend a show if awards are not given, and even others that will leave shows if the awards given are not what they’re looking for. While I like to earn awards and be recognized for my car, it’s the fun and friendships that make the shows worth going to and usually spending the day in the hot, humid sun!
