I agree, I think each show had something special that keeps us coming back year after year. Starting in May I always look forward to Automotion as it’s the first show of the year and it’s a weekend away from home surrounded by friends anxious to get out from the cold winter. Moving into June and July, DeForest and Fox Lake are always fun ~ Fox Lake has a burnout contest that can’t be beaten and the park is top notch! Blanchardville is always hot, but it’s a great drive in the morning, the park is nice with a swimming pool to keep the kids happy and entertained. In August we went to Berlin for a FREE show that was very well organized and worth the extra drive. September brings the Pardeeville show which is one of the best… Vicky and Jim put their heart and soul into this show and it clearly shows. They are always looking for ways to improve their show and with it practically doubling in size each year, they are clearly pleasing people!
I love fall, but as we get older, the summer tends to go even faster and this year was no exception. Many of the shows get bigger and better every year, we should be proud of that!
circletrackParticipantKaren Severson ~ yes the gal at Pardeeville. She truly loved that show, I’m glad it was her last and they won a trophy also.
circletrackParticipantMarshall ~ Very sorry to hear that! It’s been a rough few weeks for many in the car hobby. We had a friend who attended many events with her Blue Corvette pass away earlier this month due to cancer, very sad. Let’s hope we’re all over this unfortunate “bump” in the road now.
Chevelles at Jefferson! Yahoo!!! blob1.gif
circletrackParticipantDrove the Chevelle to TN and back in June, went to many shows in the northern area of the state ~ I’d say easily 2-3K. Cars are meant to be driven!
Having some last minute engine work done now before we put it into storage, this time of year can be depressing! How long until spring Jefferson? jumpy.gif
circletrackParticipantCongrats! We won earlier this year, loved getting that gift certificate!
circletrackParticipantVery sorry to hear that, I remember him well at many shows! May he rest in peace!
circletrackParticipantI was parked in the same class as the Mustang at the Blanchardville show and most everything on that car was Roush. I never said it was built by Roush, it was built using those parts and more.
There needs to be special classes for cars like that, the average Joe can never compete. Thankfully the judges recognized that fact and gave him awards separate from his class.
circletrackParticipantcircletrackParticipantMarshall ~ I saw that on the other site not too long after the show ended, I really like it! They did a great job with that video clip.
There are a few shows listed here ~ http://www.oldride.com/events/wisconsin.html
circletrackParticipantIf it’s not, it looks very close. The car has been in Summit and on the cover of Jegs.

Lensing Auto Museum. We will definitely go back to this one!
circletrackParticipantWhere was this held? Beautiful cars! That Mustang was at the Blanchardville show ~ easily a $400-500k car!
circletrackParticipantJanesville Jaycees Car Show
circletrackParticipantWhere is it held at? That’s a big stretch of land listed!
circletrackParticipantI just tried it, very neat! I didn’t install it, just previewed it and towards the end (at least on my end) it stopped working right after the Red ’57 with the hood open.
