Did you title it as “test show” or something with test in the title? If so, I cannot find it either. That’s the same problem I was having, it would submit but never actually be entered onto the calendar
GaribaldiKeymasterCan anyone submit a new event to the calendar by following this link:
http://s18941.gridserver.com/component/option,com_events/Itemid,88888907/task,add/year,2007/month,05/day,25/
I cannot do it either logged in or logged out. When I’m logged in it just sends me back to the homepage but nothing is submitted. Logged out I can’t even get it to submit. Also, can anyone edit their own events successfully?
Thanks for the feedback.
GaribaldiKeymasterIndeed. I just had to try a couple times to log in – I think it was because I kept typing my password wrong. If it keeps happening that we have trouble logging in, post here and I’ll see if there is something more serious going on. How does the speed seem for everybody? It seems very fast for me, I’m impressed! :salut:
GaribaldiKeymasterCan you report specifically what is happening? That will help to diagnose and clear things up. As of 6:00PM every issue I noticed before is gone. I saw circletrack was logged in earlier.
GaribaldiKeymasterOh very nice!
GaribaldiKeymasterThat is a beautiful car, I tried to catch them all but I think I missed that one!
Does anyone have a final count on how many cars were there (either day)?
GaribaldiKeymasterThat would definitely be a concern for the older cars – I have never seen them do it so I’m not sure what their procedure is
GaribaldiKeymasterIf you can Steve get some pics at Waukesha, it should be a great show! icon_cheers.gif
GaribaldiKeymasterThanks for the feedback guys. I’ve made this topic into a poll, please vote on whether or not you think we should move to a new host
GaribaldiKeymasterThanks, I appreciate it. We’re working with our host now and will have it resolved ASAP!
GaribaldiKeymasterSounds like a great experience! Did you take it out for a test cruise afterwards?
GaribaldiKeymasterI hope not! Looks like a 30% chance at the moment, hopefully it will change:

I would have to say it was a success. I wish they would have started setting up earlier, though. Also, they had the cars parked on one side of State Street. I would have preferred seeing them parked at an angle in the middle of the street, but mayb there were safety reasons why they couldn’t do that. One of the event organizers also suggested that the show would become annual and given its success, they could see it growing. That is unusual for a car show, I guess they wanted to give the cars enough room to get out when they decided to leave. Its too bad State Street isn’t wider, it would be cool to have them lining both sides.
GaribaldiKeymasterI’m also going to Automotion on Saturday. It should be a lot of fun, if previous years are any guide we should see over 1200 cars with the nice weather on the forecasts! I’m also thinking of going to QSL on Sunday, they’re having a corvette club meeting there, 170-200 corvettes! 😯
GaribaldiKeymasterSoon to be $4
