GaribaldiKeymasterRate The Cruise Night:
Accessibility (easy to get to): A+ – just take University Ave straight there for where I live
Parking Location: B – Great that it was right outside The Garage, easy to get to but easy to get food/drinks as well
Entertainment: B – Great music, I liked the song selection better than what is typically played at car shows. The suggestion I would have is the same as the others – turn the speakers so they point outside. I ate in The Garage and it was loud, plus outside you couldn’t really hear the music
Food: A – Great burger
Prizes: A – nice plaque for car of the week. Also Iola tickets and shirts
Timing (day/hours): A
Variety of Cars (week-to-week): A – a very wide range, lots of classics but also new mustangs, vipers, you name it
Suggestions: see aboveOverall Rating: B+
GaribaldiKeymasterI made a topic specifically for this cruise night here. It was a great turnout and a lot of fun. I can’t wait for next week! icon_punk.gif
Quote:Are they only letting certain year cars in?
We have a 66 GTO, a 88 VW, and a very special 05 GTO.No, they’re open to quite a wide range of years. I’ll get the pictures up soon so you can see specifically but they had classics, new mustangs, vws, etc.
Quote:Well, it’s 6:25 and I’m at home. No one in the family wants to head out to QS&L. Guess it’ll have to be a future week.
I hope everyone had a great night.Hope to see you at a future night, I’m interested to see your DeSoto!

GaribaldiKeymasterHow’s the weather there now?
GaribaldiKeymasterIt seems that even the clones of those cars bring big money nowadays
GaribaldiKeymasterQuote:Very nice video. Very entertaining! Glad to know that the new carb is going to work out.Marshall
Thanks, glad you liked it!
GaribaldiKeymasterYeah it will be interesting to see how this show goes. I was down to state street the other day and I had forgotten how narrow the street is, I think the parking will be a challenge
GaribaldiKeymasterQuote:Garibaldi,How many “big bars” did you consume this year?

None, shocking as it may seem! 😯 I think Blanchardville should really have those too, they would make a killing on a hot mid-July day like that!
Quote:What a beautiful weekend, I hated to see it end!Agreed! icon_punk.gif crybaby2.gif
GaribaldiKeymasterAfter much delay, I finally processed the video and I would like to present to you a webisode episode: GTO Man’s New Carburetor
Enjoy and let me know what you think!
GaribaldiKeymasterQuote:My only suggestion is take the cars for sale to the next level. Allow the folks that are coming for sure to submit a write-up and photos of their car. Email address, or phone numbers would be listed with it after the show has ended and then keep the cars up for like 4 weeks. Also offer, for a fee, a day of show listing in which you can hand over a write-up and the Jefferson folks will snap a photo of car. Finally each car listed on the site would have a number as a reference. That way, for the person who wants to think about it, they have a reference to go back too…That’s a good idea and it wouldn’t be that hard to setup but would make it a lot easier to get back in touch with the owner of a car you saw and liked
