Circletrack, sounds like a nice car. I have always liked those, cool looking cars with alot of power.

I doubt there was much of a turnout for New Glarus, cool and cloudy. Today would of been a much better day.

Marshall, I will have to check out that dealer. I emailed the owner of Spring Green Motors because I added them to our list of links on this site. He said he is basically a one man operation, a Mustang fanatic. I noticed he has sold some cars already.

I noticed that there was an annual car show scheduled for this past Saturday in Janesville. Did anyone go or has anyone participated in this show in the past????

Checked the car show schedule – It looks like we can “stick a fork in it for this year” because we are done. crybaby2.gif

So now I guess we start thinking about how we can make more shows next year, and improve our chances of placing. Don’t know about you guys, but I have much that I would like to get done before the first show of 2006 rolls around.

We went to the Janesville show last year. There were about 16 cars when we arrived. I think that was the high count for the day. A number of cars came in, the people sat in their car for a few minutes and left. It wasn’t a bad setting but was certainly a disappointment as a show. Like you said this was basically the last weekend. Today would of been a nice day for a show. Probably a few drives left this year but will be putting them away by early to mid November.

I think you really have to plan out the year as far as the shows you want to attend. I plan on making the calendar better and more complete next year. Have found a new format which should be great.

something came up and I won’t be able to go, If you guys could keep an eye out for a bird for me and get a phone number and some info on the car I would appreciate it.

Gary Esse keeps track of cars that were for sale in the car corral, you could give him a call and see if there were any Firebirds that you might be interested in.

Took a drive down to the new dealer in Spring Green last Saturday. Drove by it a couple of times by mistake, not real well marked. Thought they were open from 9 till 2 but they were closed. From their website they have sold 3 cars already. Looks like they are concentrating on Mustangs and Mopars so far. They have some additions to their inventory out on the site. Some interesting cars.

Another bad intersection is Fish Hatchery and Greenway Cross. Another horrible one is Verona Road at the beltline.

I think you are starting to see some of the effects of the inflated price of fuel. People are having to divert a higher percentage of income to fuel leaving less to be spent elsewhere. As we get closer to winter and heating bills start to arrive consumers will be buying less and less. Bankruptcies, already at an all-time high will go higher along with credit card defaults. A recession can’t be too far off.

From what I have seen reality shows are garbage. It may start out interesting the first couple of shows but then it goes downhill quickly. Especially shows like America’s Funniest Home Videos. I am not amused with a bunch of idiots playing up to the camera.

No idea, from the way they have played so far they will be very lucky to win. They just are not a very good team, so far. Favre can only do so much, he needs a supporting cast. I am not impressed with Sherman’s coaching ability or how he did as a general manager.
