moparkid25Participant
We should’ve seen this coming when they jacked the title fees, registration fees for regular vehicles, and other counties and towns started implementing a wheel tax.
I bet we won’t see one damn road fixed with all this extra money.
Thanks a lot, Governor Gilligan.
moparkid25ParticipantI’m not upset at all about having a warm Christmas.
moparkid25ParticipantI got mine today, surprisingly Parisi and Evers didn’t bend me over too bad. With the lottery credit and a couple other incentives, mine stayed right where they were last year which is already too f***ing high.
moparkid25Participant“The state just got a huge jump in the initial registration/titling fee from $64 to $169.50, a whooping $100 increase! Dane County wheel tax is $28. The city of Madison fee would be another $40. Where in the hell is this money going, and why do we allow politicians to do this to us, the hard working blue collar, contributing members of society?
I, too, would feel much better if some of this new money was being spent on public safety (police, fire, emergency services) instead of special interest groups such as high speed rail, office of immigration assistance, bilingual interpreters, multiple mayors with nothing to do, lieutenant governors who have nothing to do, etc.”
I wasn’t Walker’s biggest fan, but what you are experiencing now is liberal politics in action. Tax and spend. You will not see any roads in Dane County repaired, I live off a county road that was resurfaced three years ago, it was a very poor resurface that the blacktop broke up so they fixed it by filling in the washout with gravel. All of this while Dane County sits on a $30M surplus. Governor Gilligan (Seriously, somebody get this clown a decent haircut) leaned right on DOT fees right out of the gate. The wheel taxes being imposed by induvidual counties are another way to squeeze the taxpayer. Not once did anyone consider looking at the wasteful state spending and put an end to that…. And don’t get me started on this “Mayor” in Madison… I actually feel sorry for the common sense residents of the city. Never did I ever think Soglin would be the most conservative choice for mayor. Her $40 wheel tax is to get everyone to use public transit and push a high speed rail agenda. No money for police, fire, or other needed city services, but let’s continue to waste taxpayer money on senseless shit. I don’t blame Koval for retiring, I would lose my shit if I had to go to work to 1. protect a city and its residents all while 2. fighting a liberal mayor and judges in city/county courts that let criminals walk with no consequences of their actions. Then she gets on TV pissing and moaning about strict gun control laws that in her pot-induced utopia will stop any and all crime.
I’m also not a fan of Fitzgerald and Vos, but right now these are the guys that will stop Gilligan from completely running this state into the ground.
The enemy of my enemy is my friend. I’ll get off the soapbox now.
moparkid25ParticipantWhat was the reasoning behind the cancellation?
moparkid25ParticipantMarch 4, 2019. Still haven’t received my award from the Potosi car show 😀
moparkid25ParticipantYes, a red coronet R/T that was sold as the real deal with a non #s matching crate engine in it.
Turns out the numbers weren’t for that car even… The seller still states it was legit, but GG had evidence that proved otherwise.
Hard to believe that was 13 years ago already.

moparkid25ParticipantAny dealings I have ever had with GG were pleasant. I know there are others out there who disagree with his methods, or reports, and there has been some contreversy regarding production numbers from the factory vs his registry. I cannot account for any of that, but he did save a customer of mine a boat load of money and headaches with his inspection after finding out a Hemi car was not a Hemi car as the VIN on the vehicle was supposed to be a car currently in an AZ junkyard, leading to a lot of questions for the owner, consigner, and the consigners bank.

moparkid25ParticipantI do all of my banking with Summit Credit Union. My Grandpa always said don’t keep your eggs in one basket, but SCU is so easy to deal with when it comes to everything! They have locations in the towns I work in, the online banking they offer is simple and easy to use, and all of the ladies that work there are absolutely gorgeous (or at least the ones I get to deal with, they must pair up the beautiful people when doing business 😉 )
I really can’t imagine banking anywhere else.
moparkid25ParticipantOld National Bank, who bought out Anchorbank when they went belly up, has sold a couple of locations to Marine Credit Union. They are absolutely terrible to deal with, screwed up many peoples accounts right off the bat with debit cards that didn’t work and not allowing people to have access to their own money. They lost a lot of personal and commercial business in the New Glarus area.
moparkid25ParticipantRemember these days when everyone is bitching about how hot it is in July.
moparkid25ParticipantAs a devout conservative, I was 100% against this deal from the get-go.
