I have a flyer, I’ll email it to you.
moparkid25ParticipantGoing to the Armory on Saturday so I can climb the rock wall again, and on Sunday I’m going to check out the Edgerton 4th of July show. Its a new one I’ve never been to before
moparkid25ParticipantThe Road Apples show on Saturday for me, then Oregon on Sunday.
moparkid25ParticipantLuxuryliners,
I have to agree with you about the stock classes. Having a unrestored 20 year old vehicle being judged against something that rolled off the showroom floor is tough, as those cars are literally brand new. I think more shows, especially the larger ones, will have to adapt classes for stock 1990-1999 and 2000-current.
moparkid25ParticipantSounds like one to stay away from. The lady saying she didn’t know much about cars and that she didn’t even like them is a total turnoff to anyone attending that show IMO. It makes one feel as if they are not wanted there and that they have wasted there time helping someone making there show a success.
moparkid25ParticipantHow classic of a car are they looking for?

I wouldn’t really consider the GM G-Body vehicles “modern muscle”. Sure they had big names like 442, SS, and Hurst on them, but all those v8 cars put out less than 200 hp stock. The intercooled GNs (86-87) were rated at 245 hp, but they were a 6cyl engine. Even though they can be quick, I still don’t consider them a ‘Modern Muscle’ car.
IMHO, the Modern Muscle class should be cars 1995-current model year. The mid-late 90s is when the American companies started pushing the hp back up, i.e. The LT1 (300hp), LS1 engines in the ’97 corvettes and 98-02 F body GM cars (325 & 345hp depending on application), The 4.6L 4V Cobra’s from Ford, etc. I would put the GM/Ford cars of the 80s and early 90s in either the stock or modified classes.
moparkid25ParticipantWe’re headed to Monroe on Saturday

I know where my “buddy” fordasaki will be…
moparkid25ParticipantI’ll be going to Verona on Sunday.
moparkid25ParticipantI bought gas at a BP today… It came with a free oil covered seagull
moparkid25ParticipantI wish I would’ve seen this before I left  I got to QSL about 8:30 with a few friends after we attended the Bethesda Cruise In over on East Wash. Most of the cars had left, and the pea gravel mess was a suprise. Especially after you just cleaned your undercarriage at lunch
moparkid25ParticipantThat’s the city trying to run the county…again
Wisconsin needs the same law as Arizona when it comes to immigration matters.
