Buy something with a title every chance you get. If you buy a car without a title, the DOT inspector can give your car a generic serial number like they do with many custom cycles and street rods. If you got a numbers car, this will really screw with the value of a car.

I can lower the crime rate anywhere with two simple words – concealed carry.

What do you think of having a Target store near Hilldale? Is it the wrong location for that type of store? Are you concerned about the traffic?

My Grandma lives in that neighborhood, along with many other senior citizens. I think its a good idea as its within walking distance to many. Plus, it will bring jobs to the city and fill that ugly hole on University Ave :)

I think your most desirable cars like your Hemi’s, LS6 Chevelles, 429 Mustangs, etc will hold a high value, but only certain cars will achieve high $$$ status and sale.

All of Tiger’s sponsors will be kicking themselves in the ass in about 5 years. He’ll be back to golf in no time, and he is still the best there is at the game.

Yeah, US Congress bails out a Japanese Auto Manufacturer… I wouldn’t be suprised, considering the current administration.

    Best

    Lexus LS 460L
    Infiniti M35 X (AWD)
    BMW 135i (manual)
    Porsche 911 Carrera S (manual)
    Infiniti M35 (RWD)
    Mazda5 Grand Touring
    Infiniti G37 Journey
    Nissan Altima 3.5 SR (V6)
    Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (manual)
    Hyundai Genesis 3.8

    Worst

    Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara
    Hummer H2
    Ford Ranger XLT (V6)
    Hummer H3
    Jeep Liberty Sport
    Smart for Two Passion
    Chevrolet Aveo5 1LT
    Dodge Nitro SLT
    Chevrolet Aveo LT
    Toyota FJ Cruiser

    What do you think?

I don’t think you can compare a Z06 Corvette to a Dodge Nitro. I agree that the Aveo, Nitro, H3, and FJ cruiser are junk, but Consumer Reports is comparing “family” vehicles to sports cars like Porsches, Corvettes that not everyone is going to drive on a daily basis.

How about bashing unions for their part in screwing the American auto industry which also led to the American people getting “screwed?” At least Wall Street firms have/ or will pay back American taxpayers.

I gotta go with RivFan on this one. Being an employee in the auto industry, I’ve personally seen how good UAW workers have it. They keep getting more money for simple jobs like threading in body bolts, and the auto manufacturers have to cut down the quality of the vehicle to keep the machine running.

Some of them Wall St. bankers helped everyone’s retirement accounts rebound, too.

I’ve seen this truck around the area quite a bit. The guy who owns it does a lot of custom bike and car work… His wife used to work with my mom, and I can remember when he lived in Mt Horeb and cruised an orange 78 Camaro!

I’m glad the race didn’t end on a caution lap, and that they didn’t call it with all the pavement problems on the track.

It was nice to see Dale Jr drive like #3 at the very end too :)

Madison is looking at a $30 million shortfall in school funding. This would cost the average homeowner another $300 in property taxes. They better start looking at what needs to be cut because expecting homeowners to come up with that amount is unacceptable. Start cutting the administration where most of the waste is.

Yes. Have you noticed how a majority of the kids coming out of these schools have no hands on experience? More and more schools are cutting tech programs, when they should be adding them. There are too many educators and teachers who aren’t very savvy themselves, and too many teaching there own agenda’s. Unfortunately its always been that way, but now would be a good time to “clean house”.

Technically, there were some 1964 1/2 mustangs built. But rules are rules… Its similar to the Dells cutting off at 1989. However, the organizers at WI Dells should learn how read a VIN number because I see plenty of early 90’s vehicles in the show.
