My car show itinerary is usually in this order:
-get registered and parked
-get the tent up
-get the car clean
-go make fun of Team Mustang
-Spend about the next four hours hearing about DDhemi’s sexual escapades from the night before
-make sure Ms. Moparkid’s daily driven show car looks nicer than most show cruisers
-wait for the awards
-clap when a customer, aquiantance, or friend wins
-let out a rather loud, “WTF” when a new challenger wins a best of show
-come home and rate the show!
moparkid25ParticipantWhat’s up, sneaky Peter?
Lol, I don’t see it being a problem. Welcome to WCC!!!

moparkid25ParticipantI really enjoy the atmosphere at QSL, but I gotta say the food doesn’t impress me much. However, the beer is always cold on a hot summer night
moparkid25ParticipantYep. He has an extensive collection of cars, and probably 50% of them were charity donation vehicles.
Ron Pratt also keeps to himself, refusing to do any interviews on BJ or in the Phoenix media for that matter. I figure if he’s got the money to burn, he can burn it any way he wants – whether its thru greed or business practice. I was watching last and saw him drop about 600k in an hour between buying Davey Allison’s ’92 Daytona 500 backup car, Alice Cooper’s “Billion Dollar Babies” street rod, and another custom woody wagon.
I can only imagine what he has to pay in taxes a year…

Gas station robberies always remind me of the end of “Fast times at Ridgemont High”
moparkid25ParticipantIt seems to me the side effects of some these advertised drugs can be more dangerous than living with an overactive bladder, erectile dysfunction (glad I don’t have that problem), blood platelets, etc.
moparkid25ParticipantI bought regular for $2.66 in Mt Horeb last night. In Verona it was 2.63 at the Kwik Trip.
moparkid25ParticipantUh Oh….. I think if any living person can be an authority on the car, it would be Shirley Tucker
This is quite the topic of curiousity. I’m sure it will get better when they auction it off!!!
moparkid25ParticipantI agree. Ron Pratt made his money as a real estate developer in the Phoenix area. A good business to be in as the Southwest is one of the most growing areas of population these days. The recession must not have hurt him too bad…
moparkid25ParticipantI wonder if Benchmark’s Tucker got damaged?
moparkid25ParticipantI talked to my friend in Scottsdale today, he’s attended BJ every year since he moved there. This year he got a bidders pass… While I was watching tonight I saw him on TV inspecting cars on the block. I was on the phone with him when they were bidding off the Ford Mustang race car, he was sitting behind Ron Pratt and said Pratt looked over to the guy sitting next to him and said “I wonder how much this car is going to cost me.” Then he ended up not even bidding on it, must be nice…
moparkid25ParticipantVery Cool!!!
moparkid25ParticipantI’ve seen that Chevelle in person, I think at the Albany show. Its a very nice car!
moparkid25ParticipantThat’s a tough call. I think I would get a price in mind that you’re comfortable with accepting for all of your hard work and go from there. Advertise on eBay. Maybe advertise on some custom or street rod forums too!
