    Its time for the 4th Pinto Stampede. This years will be a destination event. The destination is the home of Ford, Dearborn MI. In the past years we did a drive of between 1,600 – 800 miles. This year it will be easier for people to attend.Over 50 Pintos have signed on for the event. I will be leading the midwest group.I will leave Janesville the morning of July 17th meeting others in South Bend IN for lunch and a stop at the Studebaker Museum. Then on the Dearborn for 3 fun filled days.

    Here is our full itinerary:

    Day 1 – Friday, July, 18th, 2014

    •Under police escort over 50 Pinto’s will make their way to the Ford product development center (20901 Oakwood Boulevard, Dearborn, MI) to take a place of honor amongst Ford’s most impressive cars.

    •After the car show ends we will head over to the Henry Ford Museum to see the sights. (20900 Oakwood Blvd. Dearborn, MI)

    •The evenings events are a surprise, a unique event is in the works courtesy of Ford.

    Day 2 – Saturday, July 19th, 2014

    •9:00 am, Pintos arrive at the Roush Collection a museum of famous Ford racing history collected by none other than Jack Roush. The museum which is normally closed on Saturday’s is opening just to give a private tour to the Pinto faithful. (11851 Market St. Livonia, MI)

    •Then open up the gates of Hell, the pinto’s are coming! The scenic route to Hell will freeze over when 50 Pinto’s roll into the small town of Hell MI, and have lunch at the Dam Site Inn. (4045 Patterson Lake Rd. Hell, MI)

    •Then later that evening it will be a visit to the Ford Drive in Theatre. Where we will get a section reserved for the Pinto’s at the drive in. (10400 Ford Road, Dearborn, MI)

    Day 3 – Sunday, Juy 20th, 2014

    •Pinto’s will roll into the Ford / Mercury restorers Club Car show and do a fund raiser for the Wounded Warrior project. (20501 Old US HWY 12, (I-94, Exit 159) Chelsea, MI)

    •Then the Pinto’s head home to parts all over the country.
