Octopus car washes have been sold to an out of state company. Sounds like the locations will still be a car wash but under a different name. That name has been part of the Madison business landscape since 1956.

The Octopus car wash on University Ave is where my Grandpa always took his cars to be washed. I ran my old truck through there a couple times, always did a good job, and if you or they weren’t happy with it, they ran it through again at no charge.
What will happen to the green octopus that’s been around forever? Hopefully someone takes good care off them…
