Fortunately this company will be purchased by Johnson Controls so the battery technology will live on. Because of the slow economy many companies are having trouble holding on.

There couldn’t be a better company to purchase the assets. Johnson Controls has been around since 1885 starting out as the Johnson Electrical Service Company. They produced room to room temp controls and pneumatic controls also. They produced cars, trucks, ambulances from 1901 to about 1914. Powered by gas, steam and electric. Very old Wisconsin company, perfect fit for battery technology.
