Automatic or Manual Transmission

I know there is already another topic about this in another forum but what do you think about automatic or manual transmission? This topic would be more focused on your daily driver than a collector car, since that has already been addressed in the other topic? What do you think about this option?

For a daily driver I would prefer a manual. Currently I have an automatic but next I will be getting a manual.

Why would you like a manual better? Better mileage?

I just think they are more fun and challenging to drive. I also believe you have more control.

Great! Its a good feeling to have more control over your car, especially with some of the drivers out there today…

I’m tired of shifting!!! icon_sad.gif

I always get the auto in my vehicles now.

Also, the gas mileage thing has been evened out with
modern technology so that isn’t really a factor anymore.

I think the automatic would be better for more everyday driving because like you said you can get tired of shifting.
