Obama and definitely not Hillary, the evil one, Clinton
November 20, 2007 at 4:43 am #31096moparkid25ParticipantHillary is the devil and the root of all things evil. Not to sound racist, but I don’t think this country is ready for a black president. I feel that a lot of minorities look at Obama and see an Uncle Tom. I think he would be a good candidate, and is a head and shoulders above Kunich the anti-war hippie nazi.
I still think Joe Lieberman would make a good Left wing canditate, too bad he’s not running this term….or is he? I liked his chances last time.
November 20, 2007 at 9:25 am #31097jonmandudeParticipantI disagree. I think this country is ready for a black candidate, maybe not a president but at least a candidate. If we had a better candidate than Hillary this country would be ready for a woman as well.
Times have changed and I think our country is almost diverse enough for us to start looking at candidates for their intelligence and stand and not appearance. I did say almost.
December 10, 2007 at 11:01 pm #31098GTO ManModeratorObama is charging with Oprah’s endorsement. I don’t think Hillary has a chance. People in this country are sick of the Clinton’s and the Bush’s.
December 11, 2007 at 5:10 am #31099GaribaldiKeymasterI think Obama’s fresh look and ideas is what we need to revitalize politics in America today. I feel like the politicians in Washington are constantly dragging their feet, not getting anything done, and lying all at once. Someone like Obama can change that, who knows to what degree but even a small change would be good

January 9, 2008 at 1:16 pm #31101jonmandudeParticipantIs anyone honestly buying this Hillary crying because she cares bullshit? Wow is this what we can expect from her every time the votes aren’t going her way? Fake tears? My god!! If you are going to run for President have a flipping backbone and grow up. Crying when things don’t go your way is a trick that girls use on guys in high school. I cannot believe that she would actually try it in running for President. And worse I cannot believe it actually worked. WTF?!
And then they are spinning it as “Hillary showed that she is vulnerable”. Bullshit she showed that voters are gullible and that she will use any trick to get what she wants. Wake up.

Yeah, but now Gloria Steinem is on Hillary’s team saying that America is a sexist country because they back a man to be president. I don’t see Dodd or McCain “crying” because the votes don’t go there way.
Jon, your absolutely right. Hillary’s campaign has resulted to the “Baffle them with bullshit” routine.
January 9, 2008 at 7:38 pm #31103jonmandudeParticipantAnd we are a racist country because we don’t hire all black coaches. Why is it that people want to be included when everything goes their way but separate themselves into groups when it doesn’t? Racism and gender inequality won’t end until they stop being used as a weapon. If they hire a woman at a job does anyone cry that it was only because she was a woman (even though sometimes it is just to quiet the feminists)? Or can there be a white coaches association?
Gloria Steinem is, and always has been, a crackpot radical. I wouldn’t want her on my side.

To answer this question, it is a prerequisite to being a radical, left wing psychopath. The Democrats have this “Do as I say, not as I do” mentality.
John Edwards wants you to help build the homeless a Habitat for Humanity house, but I don’t see him offering anyone a space in 3+ million dollar mansion until there house is built!!
Liberals want to take your second amendment rights away from you because they think guns cause crime and kill people. I’ve got news for the anti’s, guns don’t kill people, people kill people. If you take the right to bear arms away from us the criminals will still kill people and they will still aquire guns. The last two months I’ve read a column published by the NRA called “The Armed Citizen”. It states stories from all over the country where the common man protected himself, his family, and his property with firearms.
I’m also sick of Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton playing the race card anytime they can – SHUT UP BOTH OF YOU AND GO AWAY!!! I won’t discuss Affirmitive Action because it gives undeserving people a job they do not deserve….No matter there sex or race.

Amen brother. I wonder if Jesse and Al realise that by being involved they hurt Obama more than help him.
January 10, 2008 at 3:31 am #31106GTO ManModeratorI would hope that Hillary’s emotional showing(if you believe it) did not sway any of the simpleton’s in New Hampshire to vote for her. Wouldn’t surprise me if it did though.
January 11, 2008 at 2:26 am #31107jonmandudeParticipantThere is a reporter, a female reporter, who absolutely rips Hillary for the “manipulative” crying.
The article I am referring to was in The Huffington Post. The reporter is Vicki Iovine. The Article is titled “There’s No Crying In Baseball – Or the Race to be President”

January 11, 2008 at 5:02 am #31109GaribaldiKeymasterOne good thing is that as far as the DNC goes, Hillary and Obama tied in New Hampshire because they will both get 9 delegate votes even though Hillary was up a few percentage points. Also, today John Kerry endorsed Obama
