What do you think about the new built-in dvd players in cars? I can see how they would have a definite purpose on long trips and such, but do you think they could just add to the time that children vegetate in front of the tv? I’ve heard of situations where kids want to watch a dvd even if they are only going to be in the car for a few minutes.

It can be very nice for long trips, preparing kids to sleep…
But, this instant media should not become the same as junk food is… Othewise, kids may become not only veggies, but also fat and lazy.Quote:True !

wouldnt know, i just have an inverter for my laptop, no tv… works fine as long as i have SOMETHING to do.
