What’s the going rate for gas in your part of the world? Currently this is what I am seeing in the Houston area.

    87 octane – $2.09/gallon
    91 octane – $2.15/gallon
    93 octane – $2.22/gallon

I filled up last Thursday and it cost me $29.00 to fill up the tank in the Mustang, which is the highest I have ever paid. The way my motor has been tuned I have no choice but to use 93 octane. When I filled up that day there was a Hummer H2 behind me and I can tell from the owner’s face he was dreading the final tally. He filled up on 87 octane and when everything was said and done he had to fork over $50.00.

The sad thing was that he will probably have to fill up again in a couple of days.

Diesel is $3.69/gal at the Mobil in Mt. Horeb.

Unleaded is $3.07/a gal per each raping. It cost $62 to fill up my truck each week. Glad I don’t drive far a whole lot.

Yup, I filled up last night for 3.09 and on the drive home the 3 gas stations by my house were all 3.19…

I’m sure in july we will hit 3.40-3.50.

Let’s at least try to be optimistic about the prices of fuel, huh?

The Diesel guys are really feeling it in the wallet right now, $3.69 in Mt. Horeb at one station, and it’s $3.89 at the other two. What I don’t understand is all these so called “analysts” on the news that think they know what the price of gas is going to be during the summer. One guy says it’s gonna be $2.75, the next says $3.50, and the next says prices will stay steady with where there at now. If big oil wants any breaks, you would think they would keep costs down. Especially since the Left is threating to tax the hell out them (which I agree with). High fuel prices are helping to kill the economy. I filled my truck up yesterday for $70, that’s the most I’ve ever paid for a tank of gas.

Granted, it was sputterin’ when I rolled into the station….

I don’t buy diesel but that has to be getting close to $4

Will be purchasing racing fuel in the next couple of weeks.

The twit has to get his Texas oil-buddies one more big profit before he’s out of office BangHead.gif

$111 for a barrel of oil, WTF? Let’s kill the economy some more.

Will high fuel prices stop me from having fun with cars? probably not, but I’ll be doing one of these at the pumps BangHead.gif

Here’s an interesting website that touches on this subject, gas prices around the world:

I bought some racing fuel yesterday, it was 5.60 per gallon. Z-Oil in Verona, once they are out of their current supply of racing fuel won’t be selling it anymore.

That sucks, Zurbachen’s is the closest place for me to get the stuff. There’s a place called Moore’s Towing near my Grandma’s house, they are located at the intersection where Mineral Point Rd. turns into Speedway and across from Glenway Golf Course. I’ve bought some there before and there pretty decent to deal with. If you buy a drum they will knock a few cents off per gallon also.

I have bought at Moore’s also, they are nice to deal with and their price is usually less.
