No, a recession is described as two consecutive quarters with negative growth…has nothing to do with the President elect. A slowing down of the economy isn’t a recession.

Trickle down theory

Give the rich tax breaks so the money can trickle down to the working class. Error..greed of the rich. No money trickled down and it continues to this day and has grown to obscene proportions.

In theory the Trickle Down Economics made sense. In actuality, not so much. I do believe the concept was good. It did work some but not at the level it should have. Kinda like making laws against racism, all well and good, but you can’t change people’s hearts with laws. Of course now the big cheeses are now reaping what they’ve sown. All I know is the economy started getting better during Reagan’s second term and progressed through Bush 1 and the Clinton admin, through part of Bush 2. You cannot say some businesses expanded during this time and increased their employee count, because they did. Unfortunately, greed got the better of some of these CEOs.
