Jeep T15 input work in T18? T176?

OK, I have a 73 COmmando with the V8 T15 3 spd trans
with the short input shaft.

I would like to swap in an FSJ T18A (D20 with PTO!)
that I found, however this has the long input shaft
and spacer.

Can I swap the T15 input shaft onto the T18? If not,
I have a 6 cyl T176… would that input shaft work on
a T18?
