    Mad City Bug Out 8!

    Join us August 19th, 2006 from 9am – 3pm for the 8th Annual Mad City Bug-Out!

    14 Classes this year – air-cooled and water-cooled!

    Awards for 1st & 2nd place in class, best in show, paint and interior!

    Dash plaques to the first 75 participants. Judged by participants! Registion closes at 11:30 am…. so come early!

    $10 entry fee / spectators free

    Brats! Soda! Music!

    Live mobile DJs from 105.5 Triple M!

    Swap meet – sell those parts! $30 per space. 1st come, 1st served

    Donation to charity – MATC Foundation / Kathy Staubli Scholarship Fund.

    Looks like the show is for a good cause. Hope they get a good turnout.

    I went for about 3 hours. About 40 cars showed up. The unfortunate thing is that the roads infront of Zimbrick are closed and under construction, so the people stopping by was really cut down from last year.

    They had the normal free brats and hot dogs and soads.

    Couple of nice old bugs were there a 1952 and a 1955.

    I had a great time talking with vw fans and as long as I’m available I’ll be there next year.

    My only suggestion is they advertise better to get a few cars to come.

    Sounds like a nice show! I agree that it would be good to get more cars, that’s always a key aspect of a show. I saw yet another red bug like yours down by Glenway Street – that makes 2 in that area! I guess that must be densly populated with vw fans!
