Currently my car is at Full Circle Restorations & Rods in Madison, WI.

While the car is there they take photos so you can see the progress.

So far I am very impressed with their work.

I’m hoping before automotion. I have a couple of parts that are coming in tomorrow (rebuilt evaporator box and AC bracket to replace the one I had that was too small).

It seems, at times, that I have been in the minority by turning my car over to Dave and Kerry to bring it up to the next level. I’ve always had complete confidence and trust in them and I am sure that you will too! They have never disappointed me, and you guys have seen the results of their work at the shows.

Dave has always had a great deal of knowledge.

I rebuilt the dash clock with a quartz kit and then tested it out for a couple of days:

new door panel fastener hardware going in … some of it was missing when I bought the car:

New fan shroud … the shop that restored the car 3 years ago, made there own “customizations” which caused the fan to hit every now and then:

    Inside is done …

    100_5935.jpg

Just need to have the AC charged (which was scheduled for today) and re-install the inner fender and the hood.
    100_5943.jpg

New hinges … the old ones were worn out which cause the hood not to fit right.

    prepping for the hood:

Pick-up is happening tomorrow … but I’m taking it to Capitol Auto next week to have them swap in the original carb (it came in box with a striped out fuel inlet; so that was fixed and then it was rebuilt), replace the fuel line from the carb to the fuel pump (it is cut with a giant fuel filter sitting in front of the engine), and swap out the battery cables with the correct factory ones … and I have a handful of parts I can install (new headrests, restored dual snorkel air intake, stickers for the AC parts, new shift knob, new shift indicator lens, new correct wiper blades )…

Ice cold AC for me on the way home from Automotion!
