I see Mayor Dave wants to buy it for 1 dollar. If Madison would of kept there nose out of it from the beginning they would be in better shape now. As for the idiot they had running it, I find it unbelievable he was left to run it.

I’ve been there once, a very nice and rich looking theatre. Personally I enjoy a good Charles Bronson or Steve McQueen movie better though icon_cheesygrin.gif

Thank You – My sentiments exactly. I was going to ask, how many of us actually frequent the Overture Center enough to justify the expense. And, why does the city of Madison need to financially rescue this operation, anyway. Where did the millions of dollars in private money goe so quickly?

Exactly!! I don’t see much use for it (unless all of a sudden they have an auto show coming) and you’d think the financing for it would come from the expensive ticket prices. This should be privately funded
