After many years serving the classic car community, Wisconsin Collector Car will be shutting down at the end of 2024. Thank you for all of the car show memories!
I’m sure the guy that bought Bruce’s car would like to see his money back… especially given his wife wanted something she could drive to the grocery store and was miffed he bought this.. Yeah, grocery getter – 1/4 mile at a time
I would guess $165,000 for the Mustang and $$105,000 for the Willy’s.
This car was pulled from the auction.
I had seen elsewhere that the magic tucker convertible was going to be on barrett jackson, which suprised me because they would not run it over the block when the big debacle first started. Im curious to see what Bruce Stewarts old Willys goes for.
We were in Vegas this fall and saw a handful of some of what will be the big dollar cars at Scottsdale. Craig Jackson is thinning his collection which makes me wonder what he’s replacing it with. We’ve been to Scottsdale 3 times and Vegas was our first. I’ll never go back to Vegas. Way too much “hiking”. In 100+ heat when we were there I’m glad it was a “dry” heat and not Wisconsin humid. If you ever get the chance to go, it’s worth it just to take it all in. We’re planning on Scottsdale next year already.
85k … I think all the owner did was wipe it down and ship it to scottsdale … It has the same engine if you compare the photos on Mecum’s site and Barrett Jackson’s …
yes and not drive-able on the street. Typical Barrett Jackson coverage, as soon as they get to a car you want to see go across the block they show a useless segment. Att 110k the car brought strong money. Many cars have brought strong money but not ridiculous amounts. I thought the hemi GTX at about 70k was a good deal.
