Remember where you got your first award?

A thread started by MMRJR over in Madison discussions led me to start this topic, I thought it might be fun.

Do you remember where you won your first award at a car show?

-Plateville, 2003. Got a 3rd place trophy with my ’68 Charger R/T. I was so happy and suprised that I don’t think I went under 80mph the whole way home! Winning that award and some encouragement from ddhemi about attention to detail has led to a few more awards since then.

It was the All VW show at Zimbrick in 2005. I won best interior and 2nd for best custom.

Yep, I remember too.

It was at Edgerton last year (2006) and I was in a Mustang (all years) class. I won a 3d place trophy. There have been others since then, but I will always remember this one.
