Yup, Japan for business. They have some odd law here that after 70k on an engine you must replace it. So most folks just buy a new car, and then the engine is shipped off to another country and sold.

I have seen some pretty cool old ratted out motorcycles (mostly hondas).

Hm.. an interesting strategy. Do you know if they have a minimum MPG requirement there?

I don’t think so because i saw at least one H2, and a couple of other large SUV’s.
