Well the cold nasty stuff is coming soon so it is time to think about winter projects …

Do you have any plans this year?

Are you looking for something special like this tiger with glowing red eyes for your third brake light (look for this sitting in my back window next year)

Or maybe you are looking for a new set of rims?

Or maybe a new prop for your car show display (hot trend for 2012):

Or maybe a little maintenance (don’t forget to top off that blinker fluid):

This winter I had planed to put A/C in the wagon. But right now focused on selling our Monona home.House is on channel and has a 15×40 garage with 11ft ceiling.Don’t want to take car apart if I have to move in a hurry.

My winter projects include new swaybars and rear camber links, new carbon trunk surround, and painting my wheels.

This year just before we put the Monte away we had a fiberglass 3 inch cowl hood mounted on her. We had it fitted, primed and painted to match along with getting it clear coated also. I always wanted one and I love the way they look on the Monte. I have only a few updates to do along with hood pins for safety this spring. Have good start on spring should get out early to cruise can’t wait. B)

Received a few photos of my interior pieces that are off being “hydro-dipped”.
The original quote was 7-10 days. They received the parts on January 2nd, and called me that afternoon. They said the parts would be done that following week. That week came and went. Then they said the following Monday or Tuesday. Nope. Then they said they wanted to “touch up some spots they weren’t happy with, so the next week. Nope. Then on Thursday I was told they were going in to clear that afternoon and would be shipped out Friday. Nope.

Today, I decided to ask them to post some pictures on their facebook page. To my surprise, I received a message only minutes later “we are working on them now, will post”. About an hour later, pictures got posted.

The wait is no problem, they look amazing

It’s hard to believe that is a “printing process” and not real wood. I may have to find more parts for them to do.

Looks great, no way to tell it isn’t real. Is it a local business doing the work?

a company called Hydro Graphics Inc in Newburg, OR. They do all of the helmets for NCAA football teams. I took a chance on a company that seems to be well established.

Looks very nice. I used to do hydro dipping, it is really hard to do on complex pieces like a dash.
