I see that hunters have managed to kill many more wolves than allocated during the ridiculous hunting season that was set up so quickly.
The season is now closed but I wonder if there is a way to tell if any of the wolves were killed after the season closed and fine the hunters accordingly. It is obvious that the DNR needs to have more control so this doesn’t happen in the future.

I completely agree. With a statewide population estimated (by DNR) at 1200, I didn’t think that the herd needed to be thinned out.
Looks like hunters are out for vengeance against wolves. They are very worried that Presdient Biden that might restore gray wolf protections that the person who was in the oval office before had removed.
