I don’t have direct experience but know several from the Road Apples that have had work done there and it’s always very nice!
Steve heard about this business earlier this year from Al Peck, but could never locate it. Looks like a nice start for these guys!
Like I’ve said, I support this and hope all goes well for you. It can be very hard to jump through hoops at times to make your efforts a reality, I hope this is not the case with your event.

Ryan, while I support this, I think they have a huge hurdle to get over in getting permission from the Dells and Mount Olympus… We all know the problems Automotion has had in the past, and I’m a bit concerned they will encounter a few problems in the way of their show. I can’t imagine the police department is going to be too willing to allow this to happen, we’ll have to wait and see.
I also agree that newer cars should be included in shows as long as they have classes to recognize these cars… Not everyone can afford (or wants) and older car. The next generation needs to be welcomed into the car scene in order to keep car shows, cruise nights and the like alive. Not everyone likes change, but nothing stays the same.
Looking forward to both games! I prefer the NFL much more, and agree college can be overrated and money driven.. especially when it comes to our million dollar coaches and athletic department.

It’s been said before race car drivers feel safer behind the wheels of the cars they drive on the track versus driving with the general public, and I can see that sometimes.

We saw this 57 at Beloit and while it’s a nice car… it needs to be finished, so $23k+ seems a bit high?
Spring Green also does a great job with participant voting in which you have to vote for several different classes, and your class is not included. The last few years the sheets I’ve received have very few club members/friends cars in.
No matter what, you will always have friends voting for each other and I don’t think we can deny at times those votes are valid and well deserved. Even with judged shows you will have people that know their cars inside and out, but someone else will disagree on how the car was judged.
I have two… winning Best of Show at the now defunct House of Horsepower show at the VFW off CV years ago completely blew my mind, and while the award is huge and thank goodness we had friends with a trailer that day to get it home, the award really means something to me.
I also won a GoodGuys award at Blanchardville that really sticks out…
Hey there… you seem to have had some bad luck at shows in the area ~ we all have those days… I would not stop going to shows because of that. I don’t know when you started showing, but there are lots of shows early in the season that are great ones you shouldn’t have problems at. Going to shows in smaller towns does sometimes present problems, and other times not.
I’ve told many people that going to shows should be fun, spending the day with your family and friends and if you happen to win an award, it’s a bonus. Life’s too short to worry about some $15 piece of plastic!
