I think we’re going to skip the shows this weekend and head to Byron instead.

Hi Amy, does Gage have a specific car he’d like to cruise in? There are several car clubs in the area that would be more than happy to help you out.
We did attend, but there really isn’t anything to rate… They gave out 7 or 8 awards, had free ice cream from WOLX, free burgers and brats from the local FFA group and that’s about it. Awards were over by 1 p.m.
It’s a nice setting, but the best part is a ’37 Chevy won Best of Show at a Ford dealership… :woohoo:
We are pre-registered for Edgerton, but if it’s going to be 90+ in the shade like yesterday… we may rethink that decision!
Hi there! Thanks for the kind comments and suggestions for next year. I will add that this is our third show and we grew 30% over last year and were a bit unprepared for that increase… We are experiencing some growing pains, and will continue to improve the show as time goes on. The Mustangs were put in the Special Interest class because they were Roush Mustangs, and unfortunately our judges didn’t recognize they should’ve been in an appropriate class. I have learned over time sometimes it’s not worth arguing with people on what class their car should go in.
Thank you to everyone that joined us today, we really had an awesome day! The quality of cars was amazing, and there were several I’ve never seen before. We had cars from all over the state and into Illinois.

How do you not see a bus??? I guess I don’t know what all happened, but I’m thinking they are rather hard to miss?!

Those new Camaros are showing up all over… there was one at Verona today that the guy picked up yesterday… the car show was the first place he drove it.
