What color was the Nova? We didn’t get out there this year, too much going on. They normally end those in a couple weeks, there is still lots of summer left!
circletrackParticipantNo problem….

I attended this about 5 years ago (there were about 40 cars that are parked at the end of the parade route). Here is a list of the winners from last year:

I guess I know where my buddy will be on Saturday…
Your buddy.. Susie the Duck?

Quote:Truthfully, you usually see more and nicer cars in Botham’s public parking area than you do at many nice car shows. I say, they should run the event however they see fit, and I wouldn’t recommend changing a thing. It’s well worth a visit, and the wine’s good too. What is that supposed to mean? I’m not sure what shows you attend, but that’s a very strange comment.
Not to offend anyone, but those cars do not interest me at all, I’m glad there are people in the world that appreciate them ~ makes me appreciate my car even more!
circletrackParticipantThanks for clearing that up Ryan!
circletrackParticipantZac, I could be wrong, but I don’t think they even allow muscle cars there… You have to preregister and be accepted… I think?!
circletrackParticipantWe got there around 2:00, I don’t think they had more than 50 cars. Normally they have over 100, but the weather really kept people away today.
They gave away six awards, nice ones ~ although you had to be from the area to win one as the announcer knew every car… Oh well, it was a nice drive and normally a pretty good show.
circletrackParticipantEdit.. it’s almost noon and the sun is out, late registration?
circletrackParticipantI highly doubt either show will be held, there is also one in Belleville we talked about. The rains aren’t done yet and high winds are supposed to follow them, not good car show weather.
circletrackParticipantYes the VFW and Waunakee show are both that day also.. what to do?
circletrackParticipantRoad Apples on Tuesday, Hot August Nights on Thursday and Watertown ends the week!
circletrackParticipantMe too! Hot rods, classic cars, customs, antiques and more gather on Market Street for an evening of fun!
Listen to the music of the 50’s, 60’s & 70’s performed by “Bad Habit”!
circletrackParticipantI’ve been reading this and wanted to jump in with your quote “You know,I can see why no other organizers or show brass go on here”… you are mistaken on that point as there are several organizers or show brass on here. This site is designed to improve the quality of shows we all attend ~ many of the organizers appreciate the comments on their show ~ be it good or bad…. Not every show is perfect, and we don’t expect them to be, but when you pay your $10 and don’t see eye to eye with something that may have happened, it’s often a good idea to speak up and let others know. I know firsthand how much work goes into putting a show together and if there is something wrong, you can bet I want to know about it.
circletrackParticipantThis show sounds like it’s gotten better over the years. We haven’t gone for years now as alcohol and cars don’t mix and it was a shame to see the organizers drunk by mid afternoon. Glad it went well!
circletrackParticipantGlad to hear that Gregg! See you there!
