I have some models of several of my cars and several models of some of my cars. icon_cheesygrin.gif
montefrazerParticipantAfter 3000 miles my oil is looking very dirty so I change it then. The wife doesn’t put many miles on her van so I change it spring and fall, miles don’t matter.
montefrazerParticipantGuess I’m in the minority with it in the back, but I don’t have to think worry it when I get gas. jumpy.gif
montefrazerParticipantI’m more into the 1/64 size. Mostly collect 70-72 Monte Carlo stuff now because I have 2 real cars and I have liked 70-72 Montes since they were new. I did get a 1/18 Monte Carlo SS from American Muscle this year. I also have some 1/24 from Saico. My 1/64 are from Revell, Dub City, Hot Wheels, Johnny Lightning, etc. I also have 1/24 plastic models and dealer promos. I will buy something if it catches my eye, but now it’s mostly Monte stuff. Don’t know how many I have, dontknow.gif it would take too long to find and count them all. 😯

montefrazerParticipantIn Milwaukee there is Shok’s auto repair and painting. 5701 W Burleigh, the north side of town. They have been around since 1893 according to their ad. I remember seeing cars they painted back in the 70’s and later. They paint old cars to new cars. I would recommend checking them out if you want to travel that far.
montefrazerParticipantGreat idea. I can look up the odd filters I’ve picked up over the years and find out what they fit. I got more at Elkorn. Saw oil filters for $1 or the box for $5. I recognized 3 that I could use so I bought the box. Ended up with five I could use and now I have six extra filters to add to the “Don’t have a clue” pile. Don’t know what they fit, but couldn’t pass that up. thumbsup.gif
montefrazerParticipantWelcome from Wisconsin, USA. wave.gif
montefrazerParticipantI’d like my 67 Chevelle SS back. It was the one car I should have kept. icon_sad.gif
montefrazerParticipant57 Fairlane thumbsup.gif . I’ve always liked that body in two tone black and red paint. The closest I’ve come so far was a 59 Galaxie. A mint green Darrin would be nice as long as we’re just talking about it.
montefrazerParticipant1970 Monte Carlo Production numbers.
1970 Monte Carlo, now you’re talking my language. I have 2 of them. http://www.fgmcc.com/ for any and all 70-72 Monte info or questions.
montefrazerParticipantThe new cyber version of the Birds and the Bees
A little boy goes to his father and asks “Daddy, where did I come from?” The
father answers: “Well, son, I guess it’s time you learned about the facts of life, you’re old enough now. Your Mom and I first got together in a chat room on Yahoo. Then I set up a date via e-mail with your Mom and we met at a
cyber-cafe. We sneaked into a secluded room, where your mother
agreed to a download from my hard drive. As soon as I was ready to
download, we discovered that neither one of us had used a firewall,
and since it was too late to hit the delete button, nine months
later a blessed little Pop-Up appeared and said: You’ve Got Male!” jumpy.gif -
