I’ll be at Waukesha if the weather is nice and stop at Venus Ford for the Mustang show on the way home.

montefrazerParticipantI ended up working and couldn’t go. I’m almost never scheduled to work on Sunday so I didn’t bother to ask off for it. I did hear from a friend that went that it had a good turn out.

Another online place to try.
montefrazerParticipantJefferson on Saturday.
montefrazerParticipantI went to it last year. Most of the cars drove in, did a lap, and drove out. There were a few swap venders and some show cars, but I didn’t spend much time there. link
Grayslake is also on the 6th and I’ll be going there.montefrazerParticipantLooks like a 48-50 according to this site. http://www.ford-trucks.com/pictorial/1948.html 53 has a different grill and body.
montefrazerParticipant“Now if only the weather would start to cooperate.”
Snowing today crybaby2.gif Hurry up Spring!!montefrazerParticipantSince it’s winter in Wisconsin when it’s normally held, just parts. In April, who knows what will show up.

Chevy engines rev higher than Pontiacs and the carb needs to be able to handle the specific engine abilities. The basic carb is the same, just set up for a different style of engine. For best results, the carb needs to be tuned to the engine it’s on. Jets, rods, power valves, ect. can all be changed, but it takes someone with experience to tune it right.
montefrazerParticipantYes, several times. Two heated buildings and one open air area when it is held in February. Don’t know what kind of turn out there will be now that it’s April and the weather is nicer.

I’m sure they can handle the work and are located on the North side of Milwaukee. http://maps.citysearch.com/map/view/35143042#
montefrazerParticipantQuote:I read in today’s Milwaukee Journal that the West Bend swap meet is also on the 25. Decisions, decisions. icon_scratch.gif Maybe I’ll try for both. dontknow.gif8-12 INCHES OF SNOW!!! w00t.gif Guess I won’t be going to either one. crybaby2.gif
montefrazerParticipantThis is their slow time of year. They do a lot of consignment sales, so more cars show up as the weather gets nicer. It is an interesting place to see.
