Next time its out on the street, I’ll stop and check it out. Thanks, I was just wondering if it was still around. Be interesting to see it now…

Quote:Rumor has it some asshat has been calling the Sun Prairie City Offices demanding to see permits for the Road Apples show tomorrow. You only need a permit if your selling alcoholic concessions, which they are not. The Fire Dept donated the cost of the park, and all concessions vendors are not financially affiliated to the show. They supply and sell the product, not the car club.Obviously a piss poor attempt by someone to sabotage a show that has been so well planned out and organized thru a lot of hoops, sweat, and hard work.
If I get my hands on the culprit, well, lets just say my language won’t be that of Queens’ English nor will my physical actions…
Oh everyone knows who it is, the guy with no nads that seems to sabotage every car related event he is part of. His day will come, and no one will mourn….
XmanParticipantGreat show, Lots of great cars… :cheer:

Thats terrible that an automotive enthusiast would do that sort of thing. Especially to communities that are counting on these type of activities to help bring in some revenue in during these tough economic times.

Quote:Not a real Yenko, it’s a tribute.Tribute:
Modern elements of tribute are restricted to highly formal and ceremonial rituals: such as formal gifts being given to prove either fealty or loyalty upon the inauguration of a US or other president, a wedding of a president’s children while in office; the accession of a member of a royal family, or their marriages; and even in the largely staged show business marriages, where studios, banks, and other stars prove their loyalty through expensive gifts in hope of future benefits, and if are not given will result in loss of business. Thus, the element of duress and coercion seen in earlier times is part of this process, particularly in Hollywood.

When manufacturing faux objects or materials, an attempt is often made to create products which will resemble the imitated items as closely as possible.

XmanParticipantWow, great night for a cruise last night. Culvers @ East Towne was packed with cars at least 50. This has become the place to be for Tuesday nights in Madison. They don’t serve beer, and they don’t give out 3ft trophies.
No need to be materialistic (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Materialistic) and getting a DWI on your way home. Just good car people having a great time.
If you haven’t been there I recommend giving it a try.
XmanParticipant45k for a Yenko Chevelle, what is he thinking. We may have to send Wendell over there to take his Miller back..LMAO:woohoo:

I think the Fury may be a little late for the chopper look though
