    I was just wondering.

On one of the other forums that I frequent (Vintage Mustang Forums, VMF), a poster was ranting and raving about buying and selling on craigslist. Low and behold, I find that we have one here locally.

I found a 1967 Ford Galaxie convertible in Montello that I have taken an interest in. Allowing for the seller to contact me this weekend, I plan to drive up and take a look at it.

I haven’t spent alot of time on craigslist, but so far, I am pretty impressed with what I have seen.

I have seen several vintage vehicles posted recently that look like they would make excellent project vehicles.

Looks like it needs some TLC but could be a good project car. Has anyone here owned a 70 GTO?

The Impala Convertible is overpriced IMHO, but could be a nice investment quality restoration with some decent appreciation if it was done right. I would guess that the seller would back off on the asking price if you showed up with cash in your hand and a rollback or a car hauler.

Interesting car. If I bought it I would convert it to a V8.

Isn’t 1969 the most desirable year for Chevelle’s? Even though the car would not be OE, I think converting to a v8 would be a really smart thing to do, if one were going to restore this car.

69 or 70 are the most desireable years ~ in my opinion. I’m not much for keeping the car OE, but some are. I inquired about this car and it was sold by mid morning.

Wow, talk about selling quick. I should have suspected that this one would not linger long on the list. Has anyone tried to buy the white coupe that has been parked outside the garage for several years on Lacy Road? I don’t know what the car has for a motor but it looks good from a distance. It would appear to be a big block since it has the Cowl Induction hood.
