This is the Holden EFIJY (as in effigy, as in burned in effigy), Holden is an Australian division of GM and they are the guys who originally came up with the car we know of as the GTO (known as a Monero in the UK and Australia).
I saw the car in this months Hot Rod and it is just stunning…
Its based on a stretched C6 Corvette and has a 6.0L LS2 V-8 with a supercharger that makes 645 hp and 560 lb-ft of torque.
Now… Chances of this car being made are pretty much none, but…
Imagine it with an automatic adjustable suspension like the Porche SUV’s have (but not as complex) say at idle it sits very low (like the concept picture) but from 0-30 it rides at the height of a normal car but above that it lowers a bit, make it a bit shorter and a less technophile interior and put a Buick badge on it.
They’d sell a million of them.That is one cool car. From the front it reminds me of a ’50 Mercury, from the back one of the torpedo backed cars. They certainly designed that right.
It is one cool car and I’d love to see somthing like that on the road.
This is the Honda Civic Type R Concept. Its based on the European only Civic Hatchback and makes 197 hp out of a 4 banger.

That is very sweet!! Something about it distinguishes it from other cars nowadays, the shape is different somehow… It kind of looks like a shoe, but in a good way!
