Seeing that the recall election is over now, this thread needs to be terminated.

The thread has nothing to do with the recall.

Your right “get over it” the thread was started 3yr 7months ago long before any recall. Plus it is in the Madison area discussions. If you don’t like it don’t read it….

Pretty sure this has nothing to do with Walker… more like a Corporate decision ~ things can be made cheaper somewhere else. What a bummer for everyone that works there, and Sun Prairie.

But, why would they leave? Were open for business in Wi. They are not making shoes there. They are just a distribution center. All the shoes come from China and Indonesia anyway. I worked with a guy from Indonesia.. Nike’s are made there, he could buy them for $1.50 pr. Think about that next time you purchase some shoes.. The corporate right wingers just keep getting richer..Guess who is in the Koch brothers back pocket. My favorite puppet…

Your right it does take time, but I remember a promise of 250,000 new jobs in four years for the private sector. Looks like we got 236,000 to go.. Right on schedule…;-)

It thread didn’t start about the recall, the recall became involved in the middle of it. The thread became a good place to vent. Now the recall is over some of us have put that part of history behind us. Unfortunately I can see you are still whining about it.

Mnay people are putting off going to the doctor because of the high cost of health care. High deductibles, high insurance costs, loss of jobs, etc. are leading to this.

It is sad to see all these jobs leaving Wisconsin, I sure hope something happens to turn this economy around..At this point I really don’t think whoever people support in Wi. or Washington DC. is going to help. The whole place just seems to going deeper into the crapper.

Not a layoff but a business closing, Eggiman motors in Madison. Long-time Madison business closes, the economy, the drought. 28 job losses.

That was a surprise… I’m sure the drought is going to have trickle down effects for a long time – the mild winter that started all this didn’t help either
