A visit to the Sign Post Forest in Watson Lake this morning. Left a PCCA magnet on one of the posts.Made it to Whitehorse , the capital of the Yukon. We left Watson Lake late, but had an easy 300 mile ride here with minimal stops.

We had a 375 mile day today from Grand Prairie Alberta to Fort Nelson British Columbia. A good portion was very windy and rainy. Even with that I felt the most relaxed driving than I have since we left a week ago. Before finding a hotel for the night we stopped at the Fort Nelson Heritage Museum. The founder and curator, Marl Brown took a liking to my Pinto.- This reply was modified 7 years, 3 months ago by 78cruisingwagon.

This morning in Radium Hot Springs British Columbia. By the looks of the map we are about 1/2 way to the Alaska border. Got a great night’s sleep last night and feel the most rested of any morning so far. Today we take the Icefields Parkway to Jasper Alberta.

Monday we left Radium Hot Springs and traveled through Kootenay and Banff National Parks in the Canadian Rockies. We spent the night at Mosquito Creek Campsite. No mosquitos, it was raining and in the upper 30’s! We decided to sleep in the car that night. It was warm and cozy.
