I’ll second the dog thing … I was talking to a guy and someone close by with a dog pooped and then they just kept on rolling. The guy I was talking to got a baggie out of his car and picked up the crap ….
Also, there were kids riding around on bikes too (I don’t recall if it said no bikes, no dogs on their fliers)…
I took a half day of vacation on Tuesday, to beat the traffic out of Madison to attend the Fort Cruise …. and then probably Albany Sunday (some of the best food during the summer) …
Bushnell had about 25 cars and the brats, hot dogs, chips, monster cookies, soda and bottle water was all free … lots of folks stopping in for a test drive and a brat ….
There were about 75 cars, a live band, plenty of pies, vendors selling automotive related items, pin stripper onsite, peddle car races and wagon train for the kids, and a silent auction… half the entry money is given out back to the car owners and the other half to the Lion’s club (they helped put the show on) who give it back to their main charities … lots of folks walking around and a real home town vibe to the show.
This show is about 7 miles outside of Montello at a classic old Campgrounds.
They had about 60 cars, and room for +200 more … Looked like a nice small show …

The Ford dealership in Lodi is having a show this saturday ….
I thought for sure that today would be a wash out but the weather looked pretty decent in the morning.
I rolled in at 8:45 and was car 12.
This year spectators could come in for free so there was a lot more foot traffic then usual.
There were about 90 cars which is down from their normal 150 (I’m sure it was because of the weather).
Also, this is another show that offers reduced rates for show only, which helps save the judges time.

They had 4000 cars at the last stop this year, so I’m not sure where in the Dells area could handle that many cars (maybe Ho Chunk?).
1959 Chevrolet Impala Biscayne – $5900 (west salem)
There was a write up tapped to the window of car, that I should of taken a photo of but didn’t…
As I recall it stated that the old owner received the car back in 1976 to pay off some debt. It was formally used and beaten on as a drag car.
The car was found last October 2012.
I’ll ask around so see if anyone took a photo of the write up …
