    bar clay is easy. Spray on some detail mist (which works like a lubricate), form the clay into a pancake and then rub down the area like you are putting wax on the pannel. Then wipe down with a towel. The bar clay will pick up a lot of the junk that sticks to the paint that you can’t remove with water and your wash bucket rag.

    I’m also a big fan of the California Water Blade. It is a squeegee for your panels. I have a knock-off one I picked up from Walmart for under 10 bucks.

    I hit up the Don Miller one last year and took first for Best Foreign Car (well there were only 2 of us there …).

    I’m planning on hitting a couple of the Culver tuesday night meet and greets this year. I enjoyed the ones the WOLX had at the Steak and Lube in Middleton (like like the cruise part) last year.

    As long as we have decent weather I’ll probably be there on the 16th.

    I just bought a 3 part system from mcguire’s at Farm and Fleet. I bar clay all my cars once a year too.

    I’m planning on doing this soon using a product that Menards sells. But first I’ll use a product to clean up the oil and other stains.
