circletrackParticipant
Headed to Blanchardville…
circletrackParticipantNormally I don’t either, but have for a couple shows this year that I know I’m going to no matter what. It is nicer once you get there to have everything done.
circletrackParticipantMy ‘Stang is supposed to have Premium, but with the high gas prices I can’t justify it. I checked the the Ford dealership and I should be fine using Regular…
circletrackParticipantI’ll work on that, that first picture is the sky coming back into Madison on the Interstate, we were happy to get home! w00t.gif
circletrackParticipantcircletrackParticipantIt was nice, I took some pics I’m trying to upload now. Storms rolled in so they hurried awards right along, but I appreciate that at any show. Over 100 cars there.
circletrackParticipant60% chance it won’t! Drove to Beaver Dam last weekend in the rain, when is this summer going to straighten out?
circletrackParticipantHmmm, just what the heck would you call that?
circletrackParticipantHeading to Albany in the morning if Mother Nature cooperates!
circletrackParticipantI didn’t realize Albany was Sunday, I thought it was Saturday. I just added the Watertown show to the calendar.
circletrackParticipantThere is a show in Albany either Saturday or Sunday and also one in Watertown on Sunday I plan on attending.
circletrackParticipantThanks David! The classes they had were a bit vague, there’s always room for improvement. Sometimes it’s just more fun to get out and about and see what everyone else is driving. I was a bit surprised at the number of newer cars at the show and not once during registration did they ask if we were involved in a club, yet they gave a club participation award. On to next year!
circletrackParticipantI forgot my camera today at Beaver Dam, otherwise I would’ve done it. We waited until we thought the rain had passed and tried to get there before registration ended at noon…. There were some nice cars there. Sorry! crybaby2.gif
circletrackParticipantYes, I attended and came home with a trophy in the wrong class, but that’s where the judges placed us. It was a nice show, great location, unfortunately the weather wasn’t too cooperative until late in the day. It was $15 to enter, which I thought was kinda steep especially with the multiple sponsors they kept mentioning throughout the day and at trophy time.
circletrackParticipantWow, the season is just starting… I’d go through most of the summer before I did something like that, but it’s your call. Best of luck to you!
