Never heard of that company, sorry to hear that
circletrackParticipantHaving family in Edgerton, it’s always fun to go back to this show, but we last attended 3 years ago – it doesn’t sound like anything has changed. There is nothing worse than pulling judges from the crowd on the day of your show that have no experience judging, let alone know what they are looking at… how can that be fair to anyone? I’ll never forget the organizer giving himself two awards and the majority of the door prizes (including the big awards) went right back to the people putting on the show, no thanks. Then… to practically call your friends out of the bar to collect their awards, I’m surprised anyone comes back.

circletrackParticipantI’ve seen several cars like that at shows, the amount of time they spend setting up and taking everything down a few hours later – no thanks!
circletrackParticipantBeautiful day, how many cars were there?
circletrackParticipantNot for me, but it’s nice to see someone with good intentions of mixing old and new
circletrackParticipantWe normally attend the show in Blanchardville, it’s a beautiful drive in the morning. It’s been so darn hot the last few years though and not enjoyable, especially since they do awards late in the day and it’s even later when you get home… we’ll have to see what the week brings. We’ve been to the Ballweg show before also, it’s a nice one.
circletrackParticipantThanks for the comments guys. We work very hard on this show, and were so disappointed this year Mother Nature had other plans for us. We were thrilled around 100 cars showed up, including some very, nice cars that weren’t afraid of rain, we appreciate that more than anyone knows. The best part of putting on a show is seeing the variety of cars and meeting the owners behind them. Our best of show this year went to a ’62 Impala owned by an older couple from Wisconsin Dells. Surprising them with our crystal apple was priceless, Hugh (the owner) had a stroke last year and is just getting his strength back now. He assured me they would be back next year and he will be walking without any assistance – you can’t put a price on things like that. See you all next year!
circletrackParticipantSaturday in the Park went on today, a much smaller turnout due to the @#$* weather, we had around 100 cars – so thankful for everyone that joined us!
circletrackParticipantHow many miles???
circletrackParticipantWhile I respect everyone’s opinion… sometimes it’s just not worth it.
We have 3 short months to enjoy the summers in Wisconsin and they seem to go faster every year. Go out, have fun – if you happen to win an award or even a door prize at a show – it’s a bonus!
circletrackParticipantLooks like a great event, perfect day for it!
circletrackParticipantWe’re thinking about attending the Fort Atkinson cruise night this week and will be heading out bright and early Thursday for St. Paul – Back to the 50’s is an awesome event!
circletrackParticipantThink we might check out the show in Pardeeville on Saturday – weather permitting
circletrackParticipantZac – any chance you can hand out some flyers for the Road Apples show? I’ve been handing them out when I can and could use some help. Thanks!
